Real Wedding: Mary + Bryant at The Stockroom at 230

Mary and Bryant got married last August at the Stockroom at 230. They are such a fun and sweet couple. Mary wasn't loud or crazy, but that's okay because as you can see Bryant was the perfect match to counterbalance her. I was incredibly lucky to be chosen by this wonderful couple, as their "day of" wedding coordinator, and man... I wish I had gotten more time with them. She was from Asheville (be still my heart) and he owns a really cool custom t-shirt company in the area that I actually have multiple shirts from.

They got married on a beautiful sunny day in downtown Raleigh. The vibe was full of lush greens and organic feel with ferns, and oriental rugs. They kept their colors very clean with greens, whites, and dusty blues to give it a romantic feel, while they played up the venues industrial look and really it fit nicely into this more organic vibe. They had the most fun wedding party I have been around and could just laugh and enjoy the day with them. The guys rented out Isaac Hunters Tavern and got dressed there, which was really super cool touch. While the ladies had a fun and carefree morning in the Glass Box.

The ceremony was run by the bride's uncle who we all ended up calling Rev. D-Wright. Just to put into perspective just how fun and laid back they truly were. Which was perfect since there wasn't a dry eye in the room when the bride was given away by her brother. Seriously, so stinking sweet.

After the ceremony guests headed down to the COR Museum while the room was flipped for the reception, which all 122 guests fit in so comfortably. Donovan’s Dish served up the yummiest dinner, and DJ Sami Automatic had people dancing and partying the night away. Jessica Yee with the Oblique Pen made the most perfect chalkboard design to be the backdrop of the photo booth. Needless to say, this was a reception to remember!

My most favorite thing of the night was when it was time to cut the cake! Mary had a sweet tooth so Rachel Bailey Cake Artist made the most delicious cake for her, while Bryant...not so much. He is more of a bourbon guy. As they cut the cake together, he fed her, and she served him a sip of bourbon. Truly unique and so perfect for them. Mary and Bryant, I hope you guys have had the best first year of marriage, and how could you not with a new puppy!? Y'all have given me amazing memories and I could not thank you both so much. I wish you both all of the best and enjoy this wild ride of married life.

Thanks to all our awesome vendors!
