Morgan and Tyler's day was definitely a 2018 wedding dream! From the moment I first talked to Morgan, I knew that her wedding would be one of well-thought out and meaningful details. She shared early on her wedding dream to get married at a special family place - sweet Southport, NC. She grew up going to Camp Caswell and has many special memories in Southport, and has a love for all things historic, so it was very fitting that she and Tyler's weekend was located there.
They started their weekend with a laid-back, low country boil held at the beautiful Cape Fear House (historic home on the water in Southport) - where she and her family stayed for the weekend. The ceremony was full of meticulous detail (all with so much meaning!) at the stunning historic church ruins in old Brunswick Town at Fort Anderson. If you have never visited this landmark, you should! The grounds of the church ruins made for a very intimate, romantic, and spiritual ceremony. After the ceremony, guests enjoyed roaming the gorgeous land surrounding the Fort.
Their reception was held at Marker 614 - a really fun new venue in downtown Southport. Guests enjoyed a delicious dinner by Coastal Catering and drinks and dancing to follow. Morgan and Tyler brought some of their favorite Raleigh dessert for cake from Hayes Barton Cafe and Dessertery.
Morgan designed every detail of her wedding - from the invitation suite to the table design. Our team loved executing her design! Morgan will remain a very memorable bride, (and now friend!), as she was so kind and grateful to her vendors throughout the process. I fell in love with the Jones and Hill families throughout the planning journey - Morgan and Tyler, you are so blessed! I have no doubt that these two will impact many through their love for one another and others!
With love, Becca
