This wedding was particularly sweet to me because the bride and groom are good friends of mine. Ashley was in the small group I led in college. Knowing the couple (and a lot of the guests) personally makes the day really fun! Ashley was also the most easygoing laid back bride that I have ever had. She really cared about the important parts of the wedding and was super flexible about everything else. She also really listened to my advice, which I always appreciate! The weather that day was perfect. We were worried about rain coming the whole week leading up. The rehearsal dinner was a torrential downpour, but the wedding day was sunny and warm without begin too hot and muggy. It was just lovely! I thought Ashley's centerpieces were so fun, she used old tea kettles as vases and it was one of the most unique and down to earth centerpieces I've seen. So thankful to have been a part of this special couple's wedding and I am excited to see them as a married couple for years and years to come!
