Tenaya Shull

I am Hoosier, born and raised, and slowly starting to fall in love with North Carolina and calling this new state "home." I grew up in a tiny little town in Northern Indiana with my family close by and my siblings being my very best friends. There is no better place than my parents' backyard with morning coffee or unwinding watching the sunset.  I will always love the Indianapolis 500 and all things May in Indiana; just ask! My dad shared his passion for baseball with me, and I will forever cheer for the Chicago Cubs, whether it's a winning season or not. I do have the pleasure of saying I have seen a Cubs World Series in my lifetime. I'm learning to enjoy a much warmer winter and being able to visit the ocean or the mountains in a day! 

I followed my significant other, Collin, halfway across the country to end long-distance through a global pandemic; this was the best decision we could have made but the largest leap of faith. We have since bought our first home in Durham and are slowly laughing our way through renovations and projects that always seem much more complicated than expected! In our free time, we dream about the possibilities of our new backyard and drinking coffee or a glass of wine in our hammock. In addition, we enjoy exploring Durham on Saturday mornings with a stop at the Farmers Market and a cup of our favorite local coffee! I am a huge advocate for community sustainability and shopping small! 

My exposure to the wedding world started as my mom's floral sidekick/assistant. I never dreamt it would lead me here to C&D and The Bradford. Now I am learning all sides of the event industry and love seeing our planners' visions come to life for their client's big day. I'm honored to walk alongside them through the process.
