Hi Y'all!

I am a NC native and grew up in the “Peak of Good Living,” Apex, NC. I have loved watching that small town grow so much! I can honestly say I remember when there was not even a Target! I went to East Carolina University and graduated in 2014 (Go Pirates!). After college, my high school sweetheart and my biggest supporter, John and I got married and now reside in Fuquay-Varina, NC. We welcomed a beautiful daughter named Alivia in July of 2018. She already has the sweetest and spunkiest personality!

I am very family-oriented. I cherish and love all of our family memories - whether we are getting together for a birthday celebration or “just because it’s Sunday.” I also love the NC autumn weather, manicured nails, cute coffee shops, binge watching Master Chef and NFL Football. Particularly the Carolina Panthers I am probably one of the biggest Panthers Fan you will ever meet! #KEEPPOUNDING!

I have always had a passion for everything to do with weddings. Thankfully, C&D Events fell in my lap while I was planning my own wedding. I had so much fun with the design and planning I decided to pursue it as a career path. I have learned wedding planning is a pleasure and complete joy but also a beautiful challenge. Since I am a good mix between an Enneagram Type 2 & 3 - I really enjoy helping and supporting couples/families with their longtime wedding vision along with getting to know the couple and family on a personal level.

Jillian + Eric - Barn of Chapel Hill

I LOVE when I meet my creative match! Jillian and Eric included so many personal touches to their wedding day. Jillian designed and created all of their paper products from invitation suite to programs and personal signage around the venue. I love this! It truly made their total vision and design super cohesive. One of the biggest aspects of Jillian and Eric’s day were the gorgeous florals created by Wild Flora Farm - the onsite floral and design company at the Barn of Chapel Hill. Jillian wanted a ceremony statement - so Jen created and executed the most beautiful pergola design with blush drapery, greenery and surrounding florals! It was truly a masterpiece.

Jensen + mike - The Bradford

Where do I even begin with this one? Jensen was such a special bride! I actually met Jensen and her family in elementary school. So when I saw Jensen’s name come across our C&D Events portal I knew it would be so great to reconnect after so many years. Jensen and her family were just as I remembered them - sweet, loving and caring. After meeting Mike he was nothing short of amazing as well.

Jensen and Mike had planned their afternoon fall November wedding at The Bradford. They envisioned having a romantic and intimate wedding day. My favorite part about their wedding day was definitely all of the romantic touches and details they included. Who doesn’t love a fully inclosed clear top tent, lace table linens and velvet bridesmaids dresses?

Victoria + Rudy: THe Merrimon-Wynne House

Victoria and Rudy were so relaxed on their wedding day! Victoria had an organized vision and trusted all of her professional vendors to make her dreams come true! Victoria and Rudy got married in January at the classic Merrimon Wynne House in downtown Raleigh. I absolutely loved all of the velvet touches Victoria included on their wedding day. From the velvet ribbon on her dress and bouquet to the velvet bow ties and head table linen! Everything came together perfectly and made her winter wedding so magical!
