I was born in Raleigh, but raised in Eastern Europe, I consider wherever family is home. And right now that is back in old North Carolina. I graduated from NCSU and married my husband right out of college! I love a good podcast or documentary, especially anything that has to do with true crime, and if it’s on Netflix there's a good chance I've seen it. I love trying out new things, especially food, and I'm not ashamed to admit that even though there are many many amazing dishes out there, cheese is still my favorite food. We recently adopted our wonderful dog Sadie and we just can’t get enough of her. Our favorite date night is dinner and a movie, then back home to play one of our 50 + board games at home!

I’ve had the fortunate experience of starting out as an intern with the C and D Team while still in college and eventually ran their gorgeous venue, The Bradford (where we also had our wedding) for a bit and now have transitioned into a lead planner with the Collective.

Planning is my passion and I am so lucky to have found a job and group of people who have taught me to use it in a fulfilling way, because I love love. It brings me so much joy to be able to put my heart and soul into creatively designing, planning and executing a perfect day for people who have found their person, whoever that might be. I can't wait to work with you on your special day and make it as magical as the C and D team made it for me!

My Favorite Venues in the Triangle are: The Stockroom at 230, The Parlour at Manns Chapel, and The Bradford

Love Notes

“Caroline made us feel like guests at our own wedding, in the best possible way. She was an invaluable help as wedding details started piling up. She had good ideas, was creative and supportive, and extremely organized and capable—we just had to mention something to her and we knew she had it under control. The week of the wedding, she was such a help during all the hectic-ness. On the day, she and her assistant handled everything with grace and made everything run smoothly—she even went and found the groom when there was one of our favorite songs playing and he was outside! If there were any minor, unforeseen roadblocks we weren’t even aware. All of our family and wedding party were extremely impressed with how capably and gracefully she pulled everything off. We couldn’t recommend Caroline more highly.” -India

“Hiring Caroline (C and D) to be our day-of coordinator was the best decision ever!! We were pretty organized, but she was very helpful to keep us on track, follow-up with vendors, answer questions - even the obscure ones. She was sweet, professional, knowledgeable and so absolutely easy to work with. Having her support made everything run smoothly the day of and as the MOB, I was completely relaxed knowing she could handle anything that might come up. The day of she kept everything flowing - which is almost like herding cats at times! I could not have done this without her. I would hire her again in a heartbeat! - Monica” - MOB

Noelle + Hayden: The Stockroom at 230

I absolutely loved working with Noelle and Hayden for their September wedding. My favorite piece about this event was the design. Noelle really put a lot of intentionality behind all of her choices, coming together with a boho chic woodland design of our dreams. We hung greenery on all of the The Stockroom at 230’s market lights and had farm tables with moss centerpieces. Her whole look for the day really tied the design together, and it was stunning! While I loved the design, I also truly enjoyed getting to know Noelle and Hayden. They were incredibly  kind to all of their vendors and family through the whole process and I am so excited to continue to work with them as I am currently planning Hayden’s sister’s wedding for 2020!

Caitrin + Kyle: Chatham Station

Chatham Station Ceremony

Caitrin and Kyle’s wedding at Chatham station was one of my favorite weddings mainly because I loved working with them as a couple! They were so easy during the whole planning process and truly enjoyed their wedding day. I loved that they kept the design simple, and that they were intentional in making sure they got to enjoy each other that day. Caitrin and Kyle decided to have a first look, to help with those pre wedding jitters, and they took fireball shots together, to keep the humor going and the anxiety light!  They even went off site during cocktail hour to take photos at a local bar and movie night! One of my favorite moments that night was during cocktail hour, a group of their friends gifted them a neon sign saying “Til death.” They had originally hoped to have this incorporated into their design, however it was something they had to nix during planning. This group of friends surprised them with it and during our sneak peak of the flipped reception we were able to surprise them with it! It was such a special moment!

Tara + Travis: Lake Gaston

The story behind this wedding is one of my favorites! Tara and Travis met at Travis’s family lake house when they were young, and reconnected in their early college years and it has been history ever since! The lake played such a key role in their relationship, there was no other place they could imagine getting married! It was a simple and elegant tented affair and it ended up being the most beautiful overcast day! The two of them knew it was important to place personal touches throughout the day. Not only did Tara design and create the signage for the day, but the invitation suite as well, and they even had a custom 3D wooden guest book made of the lake! Tara’s design eye showed through even more in her wardrobe choices for the day. All her bridesmaids wore white, and she wore a stunning grey tinted tulle gown. And one of my favorite wardrobe details was her “Wifey” jacket. She had custom jean jackets made for herself and her maid and matron of honor. It was such a cool and timeless memory that they get to keep forever!!
