Real Wedding: Esther & John at The Bradford

Esther and John were seriously so fun and the most creative couple I have ever worked with! Esther was truly a wedding planners dream - she was SO organized. Our first meeting and consultation included good conversation and of course coffee from a local shop. I love sitting down with couples and truly getting to know how they met and how they envision their special day. After meeting with Esther and John I knew their wedding was going to be nothing short of amazing and a true party!

During the week of Esther and John’s wedding the weather forecast was predicting 90-100% chance of rain on their wedding day. Of course this was not the ideal situation. But Esther, John and their wedding guest did not let this stop them from celebrating! Jennifer Hall Photo and Charis Weddings were simply amazing and knew exactly what to do with a rainy day for great photo ops. They were able to use the gorgeous brick backdrop of The Bradford alcove for their first look and initial photos. Jen was also able to bang out some bridal party pictures during the TWO minute gap we had without any rain. They were also able to capture the beauty in the rain with clear umbrellas! Esther and John had a total of 19 members in their bridal party - and just like Esther and John they were exhilarating and knew how to have fun!

Due to the continuous rainy day (and night), Esther and John had their ceremony in the ballroom at The Bradford. I do love the traditional vows. I even said the traditional vows in my own wedding. But I think I have converted into being a sucker for personal vows. Esther and John had the most heartfelt vows I have ever heard. They truly represented themselves and made it even more evident that they are soulmates. I don’t think there was a single dry eye in the building after they both read their vows. After their genuine ceremony the guest were able to enjoy cocktails and appetizers by Catering Works while we flipped the ballroom into their reception space to prepare for dinner. After the buffet dinner service by Catering Works the dancing began and the new Mr and Mrs. Lim NEVER LEFT THE DANCE FLOOR. A Bride’s DJ kept the jam’s coming and party never stopped! Unfortunately the night had to end. Thankfully we were still able to have the sparkler exit out of the The Bradford double front doors since the rain decided to slow down to a misty drizzle.

Esther and John - Thank you for allowing me to help coordinate your special day. I am thankful and grateful I was able to help two genuine soul mates intertwine their lives forever. I wish all of the happiness to you both. Continue to keep in touch!
