Real Wedding: Sarah + Nick at The Bradford

The groom's parents go to church with me and connected me to Sarah & Nick. The first time I met Sarah & Nick I thought "wowza - these two are models" and then I got to know them and realized that they are just as beautiful and sentimental on the inside! Sarah & Nick had wonderful, personal touches planned for their wedding. A few of those were their planned prayer time before the ceremony, both of them speaking directly to their parents and their influences in their lives during the ceremony, a coffee bar to accompany the Monuts Donuts, and using an untied bouquet of flowers for the bouquet toss which ended up with flowers floating down in all directions among the guests.

My favorite personal touch was the Sarah's entrance to the ceremony. We had rehearsed her entering from the side of the house which was the same location as the rest of the wedding party. But we had a little secret up our sleeves ;) Sarah wanted to take Nick by surprise and come from the front of the house and walk down a lantern led path to her groom. That's not it though. She walked halfway down the aisle and then Nick came and joined her and they walked the rest of the way into the ceremony together. It was really emotional and very symbolic to the new life they were forming together!

There is so much to talk about for this wedding but I'll keep it somewhat short by only adding one more detail. Sarah, Nick, and a friend of theirs created the entire vision and design. They choose to use candelabras as their centerpieces with dripping candles, black silverware, and soft white/cream table linens. Then Teacup Floral accentuated the tables with touches of greenery and roses. There may have even be a little touch of Beauty and the Beast with a red flower set-up by their guestbook.

Sarah & Nick - I so enjoyed serving you and your family over the planning process and wedding weekend. P.S. everyone - they honeymooned in Montana (how awesome is that!!)

Cheers, Whitney
