Real Wedding: Kelsey + Daniel at Market Hall

Kelsey, Daniel, and I met about 14 months before their wedding. We got together at a Starbucks near our homes and sat at a little table in the corner. Every meeting we had was in that same Starbucks and every single time that same little table was available! It's such a trivial thing but something that we started talking about and become very sweet to us. At that very first meeting, I remember thinking how much I really liked this couple. Kelsey walked in with a bride binder with enough paper in it to build 1,000 paper planes and Daniel was thoughtful in being involved in every step of the way. They were so organized and decisive that it was honestly so easy to serve them. Especially when you have all of that organization on top of their very sweet souls.

Kelsey had dreamed of a Christmas wedding and man did she get that! It was a magical Christmas day, even with the threat of snow hanging over us. We loved it. They incorporated Christmas trees, ornaments, and bells into their design and pulled it off so well. We even had gingerbread cookie favors and eggnog dessert shooters.

I knew Kelsey was into Christmas but I didn't know how much. When time for the toasts came around it was very clear just how much she loved it. The maid of honor gave her toast as if it was a letter from Santa and the matron of honor mentioned that Daniel must love her since she likes to put the Christmas tree up in September!

Kelsey & Daniel also added a unique element to their ceremony that I had not seen before. They worked with Kayelily to incorporate an Irish bell into the ceremony. They each rang the bell symbolizing how when important and momentous occasions occur throughout history, church bells ring to herald the moment. Kayelily even reminded them to ring the bell often to think of the promise they made, even when life is hard.

Cheers, Whitney
