Real Wedding: Kara + Justin at Carriage at Manor Farms

You know how sometimes you just click with a client? It feels like the stars aligning and you just can't imagine them working with anyone else because the match is just too perfect. This was Kara. The whole process was smooth, easy, and just so enjoyable. Off the bat I could see her vision of a simple, yet southern design. We decided that Carriage at Manor Farms fit her vision exactly and were more than stoked when the date was available! We landed on blush, white, and green as our main colors with pops of gold and wood accents. Bushel and Peck did a great job and really knocked it out of the park! It was exactly what we had imagined. They opted for a small cake to cut and a full ice-cream bar since that is their favorite dessert. The wedding was so uniquely them and I just loved seeing all the touches and details that reflected the two of them.

The day could not have been more perfect! It was a little chilly at times, but it was sunny and not a cloud in the sky. The ceremony was so sweet and meaningful - there was not a dry eye! They did a mixture of traditional and their own vows and I loved it! I love the vows that so many people over years have said, but I also love that they took the time to say what they promise that is so personal to their relationship.

There were a few really great highlights of the night: First - Kara is a dancing queen and did not leave the dance floor. I LOVE it when a bride just dances the night away and has a great time! It's a party and time to celebrate! Second - one of our old clients was also there (how Kara found us), so I got to catch up with Elizabeth and Nick! IT was so great to see them and chat about babies and life :) Third - the vendors. Seriously it was so much fun! It is always nice to work a wedding with such great people that make the night so enjoyable.

Thanks so much Kara and Justin for letting me be a part of your day and trusting me to plan such a special day! It was seriously wonderful working with you! Enjoy all the pictures from Anderson!
