We hired Courtney and Dana to help out with our reception in Durham, NC on August 15, 2009. We were planning the reception from where we lived up in Boston, which presented quite a challenge since we could only make it down for a couple weekends during the entire planning process. Courtney and Dana were invaluable to us - they helped us do everything from find and narrow down the reception site, recommend a DJ, help make our centerpieces when we needed to cut budget corners and make our wedding day go super smoothly. They were available when we needed them to be - they spent entire Saturdays with us since it was the only time we could make it down. On the actual day of the wedding, they were a complete relief - they handled everything from everybody in the right place at the right time to negotiating with our vendor when the bottom tier of our cake imploded shortly before the reception to having safety pins on hand to fix my dress when someone stepped on it 10 minutes after the dancing started. Procrastinating a year before writing this has only made us appreciate them more - we've been to a number of weddings where we've seen how stressed the bride was and how friends and family had to be roped in to deal with tedious details. We'd highly recommend them to anyone getting married in the Triangle area!

" We used C and D events for our wedding October 25, 2008 and we were pleased from beginning to end! They were available to us anytime we had questions and got back to us immediately!  Dana had creative ideas about the set up and was extremely thorough in creating a detailed agenda for our wedding day! Everything went smoothly, looked beautiful and we were able to enjoy our day knowing that everything was taken care of. We don’t know what we would have done without their help! "I can definitely say that those ladies are VERY creative, super organized and focused.  They were constantly thinking of so many things I would never have thought of for our wedding.  They were especially helpful in planning the logistics (where everything would be set up and when it would happen) for the wedding.  They also amazed me by setting up/decorating our entire reception site on the day of the wedding (I didn't worry about any of that on the wedding day since I knew they could handle it perfectly!).  I loved how Courtney was "in charge of" and present at the reception site and Dana was at the wedding site making sure everything went smoothly during the wedding ceremony.  It helped a lot that they would "keep me on task" on my to-do list, constantly calling to check up and offer to help or make phone calls when needed.  They have classy, elegant, modern, but economical ideas for any wedding.  I would definitely hire them again if I had a huge event to plan - it makes it so much easier when you have someone to direct/plan who has done it many times before."
